Warehouse Operative
Total Food Service owned by Kitwave Group, has a strong reputation for excellent service and is highly regarded with caterers throughout Yorkshire. With Depots in Dunnington and Hull the business is focused on customer service by maintaining a high level of service characterised by our guiding principle “deliver on promise”.
We offer a one stop shop across Ambient, Chilled, Frozen and Non food items, with a product range is excess of 3000 lines. We also have introduced fresh fruit and vegetables.
The expansive range caters for our loyal customer base, which is made up of pubs, restaurants, hotels, cafes, leisure complex, care homes and schools.
We have an exciting opportunity for an warehouse operative to join our team based at our Clitheroe Depot:
Working within either our cold store warehouse or ambient warehouse, your role will involve picking and loading orders as well sourcing stocks. Putting orders together for next day delivery to our customers, you will be part of a warehouse team driven to deliver excellent customer service.
This role would be ideal for experienced Warehouse Operatives looking to develop their career with a growing business – working with some of the UKs’ biggest brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Manually pick orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Load orders onto multi-temperature vehicles
Work as part of a team and independently
Our ideal candidate will be:
·Flexible to meet requirements of the business
·Have a positive approach and outlook
·Have proven track record in a similar type of role
·Have good communication skills, and a professional attitude
·Fork lift licenses (counter balance) although training can be provided
Good levels of literacy and numeracy
Reliable and self-motivated
Ability to work in a physically demanding role
Warehouse experience preferred but not essential
Hours of Work
40 hours per week
Sunday - 17:00pm - Finish
Monday to Thursday - 16:00pm - Finish
1 hours unpaid break per shift
