Key Purposes of the Role
• Operate the MBT process ensuring reception pits are emptied daily.
• Ensure that the MBT drying halls are cleaned and ready for the following days production
• Ensure the sites fly management plan – Specifically MBT fly management plan is adhered too.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for the day to day acceptance of incoming waste streams at one of the MBT plants in East of London. Control room operators must ensure that recycling and diversion targets are met, by ensuring that refinement is running at optimal efficiency. Control room operators must ensure that all SRF meets contractual requirements and is tested as per approved procedure. Control room operators must ensure that assets and plant are effectively managed and the safety of staff, contractors, customers and visitors is ensured. Key aspects of the role include:
• Work to agree RDF production via the control room ensuring checks are in place to monitor efficiencies and productivity, implement actions and improvements to ensure that targets are met.
• Effectively run the MBT process to ensure the plant is optimised for production on the following day shift.
• Ensure that daily checks are completed
• Complete and sign off level 1 maintenance tasks.
• Provide support to the MBT night cleaning team
• Liaise with maintenance team to maintain plant uptime
• Carry out regular walkover inspections of the facility and equipment
• Report all safety or environmental issues to Management, and where appropriate, to internal support services staff.
• To carry out any other such reasonable job related tasks that the Company may require.
• Ensure fly management plan is followed.

Experience, Education & Qualifications
Essential
• Experience working on a production line
• Basic ICT skills
• Good attention to detail.
• Established and skilled negotiator.
• Demands high standards of themselves and others and is able to translate this into high quality, high pace output.
• Ability to build and maintain strong, cohesive teams with high morale and outstanding output.
• Good communication skills with all levels of the business
• A good understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Computer literate.
• Good organisation skills and the ability to forward plan.

Hours 42.5 hours per week Monday – Friday, (plus 1 in every 2 Saturdays 6am - 2pm)
Salary £14.62 ph
Overtime – x1.5 after 42.5 hours p/week and Sundays
