Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to primary-aged students, creating a positive and stimulating learning environment. You will work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff, contribute to the school's overall educational goals, and maintain accurate records of student progress. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners within a supportive and collaborative team.
Main tasks include- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Assess and record student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff.
- Contribute to the school's overall educational goals.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting
- Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Passion for primary education
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Willingness to work in various schools across Portsmouth.
