The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll be involved in every part of school life:

• In EYFS, you’ll help little learners take their first steps in reading, writing, and number skills.
• In KS1, you’ll support pupils as they master phonics, build confidence, and explore their creativity.
• In KS2, you’ll provide extra support in lessons and small group interventions, preparing children for SATs and beyond.

You’ll also work closely with pupils who need extra encouragement or support (including those with SEN), helping them to believe in themselves and achieve their goals.

Beyond the classroom, you might find yourself coaching football at lunchtime, supporting an after-school arts club, or joining a class on a trip to the Tower of London. No two days are ever the same.
