As we continue to develop our websites and online presence, we are looking for a person with an analytical mindset who enjoys the process of website improvement and the wider digital marketing environment.
About the Role
As a key member of the digital team you will be working closely with the Website & Digital Development Manager and our website development agency, planning and testing improvements in line with the overall digital development roadmap for the ESPO suite of websites. This will also involve working with other internal teams within ESPO to ensure developments meet the correct requirements.
The role also involves responding to website issues/queries raised by staff on ESPO’s website helpdesk - investigating, diagnosing and determining the best solution, resolving where possible or referring to our website development agency when required.
In addition, this role will support with the management of Google Analytics and key marketing channel and campaign metrics, incorporating interpreting data, identifying trends, investigating variances, which advise marketing strategy including preparation of data for the weekly Trading meetings.
Digital Marketing responsibilities include research, planning and implementing Search Engine Optimisation best practices, Google Ads and Paid Social.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
- Have a degree or experience in digital marketing, maths, computer science or similar
- Have experience in the day-to-day management of an enterprise level ecommerce website platform such as Adobe Commerce (Magento) or Shopify.
- Have experience of working with data, reporting and analysing information to create reports and inform business decisions.
- Have experience of working with website analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Dragon Metrics, Semrush, HotJar or similar.
- Have experience of on-site and content Search Engine Optimisation, and a good knowledge of current SEO best practices.
- Have good knowledge of digital marketing channel best practices such as PPC, Paid Social and email marketing.
- High degree and standards of attention to detail and organisation.
You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.
