What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and qualified Learning Support Assistant with the skills and knowledge to support children in all stages of primary education. The role will be flexible involving supporting classes as well as opportunities for leading intervention groups.
The successful candidate will be someone who:
• Holds a minimum Level 3 LSA qualification in teaching and learning or similar and has a secure knowledge of primary education.
• Has GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C or above
• Is motivated, positive, hardworking and willing to join an enthusiastic team.
• Is able to demonstrate high expectations for learning and behaviour, working within the schools’ policies and procedures.
• Champions children and puts their needs and well-being at the forefront of the purpose of their role.
• Is professionally discreet and able to respect confidentiality.
• Communicates well with children, colleagues and parents.
