Temporary Event Health care Advisor
Location: Stevenage
Contract Type: Temporary
Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday 0900-1700, based on site full time
Start Date: As soon as possible
Are you an organised and customer-focused professional with a passion for delivering outstanding service? We're currently recruiting a Temporary Event Healthcare Advisor to support a busy Event Healthcare team during a key operational period.
This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth administrative support, high-quality customer engagement, and efficient event planning. If you're enthusiastic, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver day-to-day administrative processes for event healthcare bookings
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and volunteers
  • Coordinate incoming communications and respond to event queries professionally and promptly
  • Prepare and distribute event plans and risk assessments
  • Accurately update internal databases, spreadsheets, and booking systems
  • Monitor volunteer deployment and notify of shortfalls where necessary
  • Provide accurate quotes, raise invoices, and resolve finance queries
  • Support team performance in achieving aged debt targets
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies (e.g. H&S, HR, Finance, IT)
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments
  • Participate in contingency planning and out-of-hours support as required


What We're Looking For
Essential:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
  • Experience in administrative roles and working in team environments
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (intermediate level)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

Desirable:

  • Experience in event management
  • Familiarity with volunteer workforce dynamics
  • Experience in financially driven environments
  • Previous team leadership or management experience
