This is an entry-level opportunity for aspiring professionals looking to gain specialist experience in SEN education.
If you've studied Psychology and have at least 3 months of hands-on experience working with children or young people, this is your chance to put theory into practice in a meaningful, rewarding way.
The Opportunity:
Join a warm and welcoming staff team where your role will focus on:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH, Autism, and other learning needs.
- Helping learners develop essential social, emotional, and behavioural skills alongside academic support.
- Using positive behaviour strategies, preventative techniques, and de-escalation where needed.
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, families, and external professionals like educational psychologists and social workers.
- Supporting a safe, inclusive, and structured environment that nurtures student wellbeing and personal growth.
Why This Role is Right for You:
- You're a Psychology graduate looking to build on your academic knowledge with real-world experience.

- You have a natural sense of empathy, patience, and resilience.
What's on Offer:
- £95/day PAYE - No umbrella companies!
- Equal pay to permanent staff from week 13.
- New DBS refund after 20 working days.
- CPD opportunities via Step, National College & Creative Education.
- Step Perks: 24/7 GP access, discounts on shopping, fitness, and more.
- Refer-a-Friend bonus - earn up to £100*.
- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant with over a decade of experience in education recruitment in Greater Manchester.
Inside the School:
- Rated 'Outstanding' and highly respected for its inclusive, pupil-centered approach.
- Small class sizes (max. 10 students) supported by a staff team of 4 in each room.
