Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Assistant to join our New team at Bright Line Nursery and Pre-school. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Responsibilities:
* Provide support to the Lead Practitioner and Room Leader in planning and delivering activities that promote children's learning and development
* Assist in creating a safe and welcoming environment that encourages children's exploration and curiosity
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Help to establish and maintain a daily routine, including mealtimes, rest periods, and outdoor play
* Assist with the administration of medication and first aid, as required
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
* Contribute to the overall smooth running of the nursery
Requirements:
* 2 years of experience working in a childcare setting
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or a related field (or willingness to work towards)
* Paediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
* DBS clearance
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
Desired Qualifications:
* Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) knowledge and understanding
* Experience of working with children of various ages and abilities
* Good Knowledge of Safeguarding children (training available)
