Crynodeb
This is a new post joining three Vascular Interventional Radiologist and several GI/ GU radiologists with an interest in non vascular intervention.The vascular radiology service is looking to expand. Morriston hospital has a DSA room (with a planned second room to be completed within 12 months) and a non vascular intervention fluoroscopy room upgraded in 2021. A hybrid theatre is also at an advanced stage of planning, and is awaiting final approvals. Presently no on call commitment is included in the job description as we concentrate on providing a full functional elective service, however as we build we hope to provide an in-house on call service once numbers allow. The post will be based in Morriston Hospital, Swansea. Morriston Hospital is strategically placed on the M4 corridor, has a major Accident and Emergency Department and offers a wide range of general medical and general surgical services to the population of Swansea.
