The Vacancy

We are looking for a skilled Void Surveyor with a passion for housing and community development. Our Void Surveyor will be working Monday to Friday 35hrs a week with a salary of £35,450-£37,668 (salary linked to experience). About the role

As a Void Surveyor at Caredig you’ll be responsible for managing void properties efficiently so that tenants can take up occupation of their new homes as quickly as possible. You’ll liaise with internal colleagues to ensure effective provision of quality homes for re-letting, as well as liaising with contractors’ employees engaged in the voids maintenance works to ensure they are efficient in the undertaking of works. You’ll be making all contractual, technical, and financial decisions relevant to the voids maintenance contract between Caredig and the appointed contractor and monitoring performance against targets.

About you

You will need to hold a Construction or Maintenance Qualification at HNC or Equivalent, and knowledge of Health and Safety requirements including the Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) regulations.
