Providing advice and guidance and engaging customers and stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner demonstrating and promoting MOD Commercial policies and practices
Deliver the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle for your area of responsibility, producing sourcing strategies, actively contribute to the creation of project plans & sourcing strategies, contract negotiation and award, and contract management.
Ensuring that all procurement activities represent best value for money
Providing commercial advice on systems which support procurement – in particular ‘CP&F’ (the MOD’s Contracting, Purchasing & Finance Tool, used to manage requisitions, Purchase Orders, Agreements, and the On-Boarding of new suppliers) and our Defence Sourcing Portal
Managing stakeholders within the MOD, Other Government Departments and Industry Partners.
Network actively across Head Office Commercial, MOD and OGD’s, Crown Commercial Services and externally in accessing current trends and best practice, as well as potential routes to market
Act as a role model for others, demonstrating, effective communication and appropriate behaviours while ensuring compliance with standards and policies
