Finance and Office Operations Associate – FTE £65-70,000 per annum plus benefits – London, UK

The Role

Are you highly skilled in finance and office operations? Do you have the experience and drive to keep systems running smoothly while supporting senior leadership?

Our client is a Single-Family Office which manages and runs a well-established investment company with a solid portfolio of UK and international interests. The family is seeking a Finance and Office Operations Associate to join its small, close-knit team and support both financial and operational needs.

Note: This role may be part-time.

You will work closely with the Finance Director and play a key role in ensuring the company’s financial reporting, compliance and day-to-day operations run efficiently. This is a varied position that combines finance, administration and office management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of accounts and management reporting
• Reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts
• Handling VAT returns and audit preparation
• Monitoring compliance and company secretarial requirements
• Liaising with Companies House, HMRC, banks and other stakeholders
• Overseeing office operations including health & safety schedules
• Coordinating IT operations and payroll
• General EA duties such as arranging travel, managing insurance and handling car tax and parking permits

The Person

The ideal candidate will:

• Be part, or fully-qualified, with experience in accounts preparation and reporting
• Have strong knowledge of banking systems and reconciliation
• Be confident using IT systems, with Excel and QuickBooks an advantage
• Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills
• Be organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Enjoy working in a team and have excellent interpersonal skills
