Learning Support Assistant & School Administrator (including welfare)Applications are sought from enthusiastic, cheerful and efficient applicants for a Learning Support Assistant and School administrator (including welfare) role starting as soon as possibleThis is full time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, term time only role. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Please note that the LSA role will automatically terminate in the event of the pupil leaving the schoolThe main responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to the following:
• Assist the SENCo and classroom teacher in the development, planning and delivery of all areas of the curriculum for the individual pupil.
• Deliver specific work programmes from outside agencies for the individual pupil.
• Involved in the assessment and observation of the individual pupil.
• Assist with the implementation of the pupil’s targets.
• Working on 1:1 or with small groups of pupils delivering interventions
• Attending review meetings and in-service training
• Organisation and use of resources
• Following Health and Safety procedures
• Accompanying pupil on out of school activities if needed.
• Reporting concerns to the Class teacher and SENCO.
