Job Title: Careers and Pathway Leader
Actual Annual Salary: £12,445 - £13,764 Based on hours and working weeksFull Time Equivalent Salary: £35,852 - £39,649 (CLF Grade E). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract Type: Fixed-Term to cover maternity leave
Contract Length: Fixed until 18/07/2026 (or before if post holder returning prior to this)
Hours: Part time, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term time only + 5 INSET days
Additional role info: Working Pattern - Monday to Friday 3 hours per day
Provisional Start Date: As soon as possible We are looking for someone who will be responsible for providing high quality and impartial careers information, advice and guidance (IAG) to students across the CLF Academies in Bristol and South Gloucestershire Academies.  You will have the ability to deliver an outstanding careers provision which reflects local and national initiatives and priorities, with the aim of raising student’s aspirations and ambition and creating opportunities within the CLF Post 16 Academy for progression. You will ensure that employability is embedded into the Academy’s curriculum and culture.  You will be a supportive role to the existing careers lead in each Academy and work in collaboration with the CLF Post 16 Recruitment and Marketing lead.
About you:
You will have:
An understanding of school/academy processes and legislation, particularly regarding curriculum and next steps to Post 16 .
Excellent listening and questioning skills.
Experience of delivering careers advice.
A keen interest and commitment to increasing the life chances of young people across the trust.
A Level 6 qualification in professional careers guidance or demonstrate a strong commitment to working towards achieving this qualification.
Ability to collaborate with trust teams and key roles to promote the wider provision of options in the CLF Post 16 outstanding provision to all children and families.
