Crynodeb
Knowle DGE Academy is a Special School for pupils aged 5 - 19 years with ASC, SEMH, SLCN and learning difficulties. Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant (known as Learning Facilitator on site) to work with our learners. We are looking for a full time role, however part time/job share may be considered for the right candidate.
MNSP 5 SP 11-17 £27,269- £30,060 FTE (actual salary pro rata to term time only, pay award pending)
You will:
Be an excellent, passionate practitioner (for example you may have previous TA experience, youth or care work, early years, college or mentoring experience)
Be responsible for supporting the delivery of profoundly personalised lessonsSupport the pastoral development of our pupilsAspire to provide learning opportunities for the full range of our pupil’s needs
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
