Summary
This is a Term Time only, MATRIX funded Part time position ( 13 hours per week to be worked over 2 days). The pupil is in Year 5 and the role is linked to them.Join our dynamic team at Longwell Green Primary School as an exceptional and passionate Qualified Teaching Assistant! Following the retirement of one of our fantastic teaching assistants, we are seeking a dedicated individual to support a child moving into Year 5 in September 2025 within our inclusive and successful school community.
This pupil has gone from strength to strength since joining us in EYFS and we want the right person to continue this successful journey.
The child is caring and thrives with personalised attention, requiring assistance in navigating social situations and at times accessing their education. As part of our supportive team, you'll provide structure, routine, and flexibility to continue to make very strong progress with a personalised approach.
We have an excellent relationship with the family and we have all seen so much progress of this child. We are keen to continue the very successful approach we have and to support this lovely child.

Experience of working with a child in a one to one situation could be an advantage, as could working with a child with retention difficulties
