This role is in-person at the Exeter Science Park and Exeter Innovation Hub with the option for home-working where appropriate.





This new full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.





Summary of the role





The Business Support Manager will join the SETsquared Exeter Business Acceleration team, bringing demonstrable experience of supporting the accelerated growth of new or early stage ventures either as part of an accelerator or incubator programme, or as a senior member of a high growth start-up.


The post holder will support member companies of the SETsquared Business Accelerator with the development of viable business models through to investable propositions via a combination of 1-1 support, training, workshops and access to expert advice and guidance. The role will particularly focus on supporting the business development and customer acquisition activities of the Accelerator members, supporting them to develop strategic approaches to building valuable relationships, partnership opportunities, and income generation





The Business Support Manager will also lead on the development and management of relationships with regional, national and international investors to develop an understanding of their focus areas and investment preferences to best support the growth aspirations of the Accelerator members.
