Total Social are working with Blackpool Council who are looking for an experienced locum Children's Social Worker for their MASH Team.
The primary task of social workers within the Request for Support Hub is to provide advice, support and triage/screen requests for support and phone calls to children services
• At least 2 years’ experience in statutory children’s social work
• Good understanding of safeguarding children processes
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to write concise, fit for purpose reports/court statements and ability to maintain up to date and accurate records.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience of inputting into children’s services data systems (Mosaic, ICS)
• Ability to be flexible, resilient and reflective.
