Senior Credit Analyst

Blackbushe, hybrid (3 days per week in the office once probation is complete)

£55,000 - £58,000 plus up to 10% bonus and company car

40 hours per week Monday – Friday

BCA Partner Finance provides simple, straightforward and convenient stock funding to BCA Dealers, helping their business to propose by increasing stocking capacity and liquidity.

We are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst role is to support the management team in reviewing new and existing customers’ creditworthiness in line with the company’s risk appetite and commercial focus, along with general account queries, reporting requirements and all forms of communication.

Key Responsibilities


Credit Reviews: Prepare, analyse, and evaluate credit facilities on a prescribed review template in respect of new and existing customers using information from customers and third parties, financial accounts and various other sources of data
Provide support in the administration of the credit department, handling applications, requests and queries from customers and other areas of the business including:

Answering general queries including redirecting enquiries t the correct department
Apprval of temporary increases within delegated authority as per the Credit Policy
Cmpleting the administration process for management credit approvals
Prvide cover on the phones and credit mailbox Other DRPTF06.05.2022 V1.0
Attending and cllating minutes for Credit Approval Meetings with senior management
Deputising fr the Credit or Credit Operations Manager in meetings
Participating in prject work as and when required, including contributing to process improvement work and testing
Representing the Credit team in inter-departmental meetings




Key Skills


Proven experience in credit underwriting and analysis of financial statements (full and management accounts) relating to businesses of all sizes, types and levels of complexity, including an understanding of company and non-incorporated business types
Strong analytical skills to identify strengths and weaknesses in credit applications, plus anomalies that may require further investigation
Excellent attention to detail in analysis and presentation is critical
Good understanding of Excel/Word/PowerPoint
Excellent verbal & written communication skills including report writing and presenting
Desirable - CICM qualified level 3 or equivalent
Desirable - experience in the automotive industry
Credit Check required if succesful
