Our client, a market-leading Structured Cabling business based in Sandhurst, Berkshire, is seeking experienced Data Cabling Engineers to join their team. This exciting opportunity comes as a result of their continued success and growth.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Hold a valid driving licence and live within a commutable distance of Sandhurst, GU47
• Have experience with Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a structured cabling installations
• Be confident with cable pulling, containment, terminating, patching, and related cabling works
• Ideally have CSCS/ECS, IPAF and/or SSSTS (preferred but not essential)
• Be flexible to work in occupied spaces, building sites, and occasional overnight stays
• Bonus: experience in AV installation
What will your role look like?
As a Senior Data Cabling Engineer, you’ll be leading and delivering structured cabling projects across the UK and Europe. Your role will involve:
• Installing Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a structured IT cabling to the highest standards
• Fibre optic cable installation
• Working on both commercial sites and occupied environments
• Supervising installations, ensuring neat and compliant work
• Supporting project delivery with occasional travel and overnight stays
• Contributing to a high standard of workmanship and maintaining safe working practices
