Summary
Core Group is hiring
We are seeking experienced Data Cabling Engineer for our client’s project in the Camberley area.
Job Title: 1 x Data Cabling Engineer
Location: GU15 3BW
Pay Rate: £210-£220 PD
Hours: 1 shift per fortnight, Friday 10pm – Saturday 6am
Duration: Ongoing, 1 year, until Dec 2026
Start Date: ASAP
Requirements:
• Must have CSCS or ECS certification
• Proven experience on site
• Must be local to the area
• 2 x checkable references
• Available for an immediate start
Duties include:
• Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and fibre optic cables.
• Route and secure data cables through containment systems such as trunking, tray, conduit, and floor voids.
• Label and document all cabling in accordance with site standards and project requirements.
• Conduct cable testing using appropriate tools (e.g., Fluke tester) to verify performance and compliance.
