Regional Maintenance Manager

Hanover has been successfully housing and supporting people across Scotland for over 40 years. Our core purpose is simple — to help people feel safe, secure, and supported at home so they can live full and independent lives.

As we continue to grow and invest in our future, we are seeking two talented and motivated Regional Maintenance Managers to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful change within a forward-thinking organisation that’s shaping the future of housing and care for older people in Scotland.

About the Role

Do you have a passion for delivering high-quality maintenance projects from inception to completion? Are you ready to take the lead in a fast-paced environment where your expertise will have a real impact?

As a Regional Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and delivering a wide range of maintenance projects — all while ensuring excellent service, customer satisfaction, and value for money. You’ll directly support Hanover’s Happy Customer Strategy and contribute to maintaining safe, welcoming, and high-quality homes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed surveys and prepare stock condition reports in line with SHQS (Scottish Housing Quality Standard) guidelines.

  • Collaborate with the Repairs & Voids Team to support inspections and ensure timely remedial action.

  • Lead planned maintenance projects — from fire alarm upgrades to path replacements and internal decoration.

  • Manage project budgets, forecast future spend, and maintain financial accountability.

  • Investigate and resolve damp and mould issues with a proactive, solution-focused approach.

  • Oversee the delivery of the grounds maintenance contract, ensuring high standards across all sites.

    What We’re Looking For

    We’re looking for someone who:

    • Embodies Hanover’s values and shares our vision for empowered, independent living.

    • Brings energy, drive, and a focus on excellence in everything they do.

    • Has the leadership skills to manage multiple workstreams and inspire those around them.

    • Thrives in a collaborative, customer-first environment.

      What We Offer

At Hanover, we value and invest in our people. In return for your skills and commitment, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:

      • Competitive salary and pension options

      • Supportive and innovative team environment

      • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements

      • Health & Wellbeing support – including Mental Health First Aiders, 24/7 GP helpline, and counselling services

      • Access to Hanover Perks – includes high street discounts, health cash plan, and fuel card savings

      • Cycle to Work scheme

      • Tech Scheme

      • Family-friendly policies

      • Opportunities for ongoing learning and career development

Closing Date for the Regional Maintenance Manager role: 22 September 2025
