Summary

Are you an organised and detail-oriented administrator looking to make a real impact in people’s lives? Join our team and support the delivery of the Restart Programme, helping individuals back into sustainable employment.

We’re looking for a proactive and professional Administrator to support our team with day-to-day operations. In this key role, you’ll ensure the smooth running of the office by providing comprehensive administrative support and maintaining a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.

As the first point of contact for customer enquiries, you’ll deliver a friendly and efficient service in person and over the phone. You’ll also support Employment Advisers during periods of absence, manage office supplies, maintain notice boards, and help keep the workspace tidy and inviting.
In addition, you’ll assist colleagues and management with ad hoc tasks, playing a vital part in ensuring the continuity and effectiveness of our service delivery.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data and documents, and is passionate about supporting operational excellence..

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range £24,242.40 to £26,354.40 p.a. (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities


Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team
Act as first point of contact for customer enquiries, both by telephone and face-to-face
Support Employment Advisers during periods of annual leave, including covering stakeholder meetings and ensuring continuity of service for participants.
Manage office supplies
Maintain and update notice boards, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and up to date.
Ensure the office environment remains tidy, professional, and welcoming
Support colleagues and management with ad hoc administrative tasks to meet business needs.


Skills and Experience

Essential

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team, ensuring smooth office operations.
Act as first point of contact for customer enquiries, both by telephone and face-to-face, delivering a professional and welcoming service.
Support Employment Advisors during periods of annual leave, including covering stakeholder meetings and ensuring continuity of service for participants.
Manage office supplies, including placing and monitoring stationery orders to maintain adequate stock levels.
Maintain and update notice boards, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and up to date.
Ensure the office environment remains tidy, professional, and welcoming, including monitoring the completion of cleaning schedules.
Support colleagues and management with ad hoc administrative tasks to meet business needs.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required, in line with the needs of the service.

Desirable

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration or equivalent
