Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
Bridgnorth Endowed School and Thomas Adams School, Wem are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Alternative Provision (AP) Learning Mentor to work with our most valuable students within our internal AP setting.
As part of the inclusive 3-18 Trust, which champions belonging and celebrates every learner, you will play a vital role in supporting small groups and individual pupils to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
If you are committed to nurturing resilience, building trust, and fostering success in education, we would love to hear from you.
This post is ideally based across two 3-18 Education Trust school sites, however, we will consider part time applications to facilitate one site.
The successful candidate will have excellent people skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both students and adults. You will be flexible and adaptable with the ability to use your own initiative.
The school was rated GOOD by Ofsted in September 2023. It occupies a fantastic location, just off the high street in the historic market town of Bridgnorth and has excellent facilities, including its own leisure centre complete with 25-metre swimming pool and air-conditioned fitness suite.
Applications should be submitted by email to Mrs Victoria Dober at recruitment@bes.318education.co.uk
