Applicants must have experience of working in a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment.
The Ashton Group was established in 1866 and are distributors of Seals, Gaskets, Fasteners and other engineering products.
Providing general warehouse and gasket production support to the organisation, your main duties will involve:
• Accurately move stock to and from storage locations
• Picking, packing and despatching of goods
• Undertake general warehouse duties as required whilst ensuring that quality standards are adhered to
• Locate raw material and prepare for production
• Using production machinery and press cutting equipment to manufacture high quality gasket components
• Where necessary, have communication with the sales team to ensure product specifications are understood
• Support quality, sales and manufacturing as needed
• Generate appropriate documentation, records and reports
• Delivering goods to our customers
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, possessing the ability to work within a busy team environment under minimum supervision
Applicants are required to have a UK driving licence for this position and a Forklift Licence though not essential would be advantageous.
Hours of business: 8.30 - 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
