Job Title: M&E Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our project team on an 8-month fixed-term contract. You will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual performance of M&E packages on a high-profile construction project.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially astute professional to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage M&E cost planning, forecasting, and reporting

  • Prepare, submit, and negotiate subcontractor packages and valuations

  • Ensure cost control, value engineering, and risk management across all M&E works

  • Assist in project procurement and manage variations and change control

  • Liaise with internal project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on commercial matters

  • Monitor and report on project budgets, timelines, and deliverables

  • Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company policies, and industry regulations

Requirements

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with strong focus on M&E projects

  • Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts

  • Proficient in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Excel, etc.)

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment

  • Eligible to work in the UK
