Summary
About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
Opportunity for an experienced sub-contractor quantity surveyor to join the European team of a London based logistics business. They currently have sites in Dublin, Groningen and Denmark to name a few and travel to sites, which will be every month or so, will be covered by the company. Ideally looking for someone with some main contracting or civils background as a lot of projects they're undertaking involve site temps, groundworks and enabling works.
Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:
- Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts.
- Overseeing multiple projects at a time with varying valuations ranging up to £5 million.
- Assisting with procurement.
- Managing trade packages.
- General commercial cost management.
- Site Meetings.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
- Minimum 1+ years' experience at a main/civils contractor.
- Ideally logistics or sub-contracting experience.
- Familiar with NEC contracts.
- Degree qualified and needs to be construction based.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
