Summary
Akings Lodge, part of Homecare Unique Ltd, is a nurturing residential care provider dedicated to supporting children and young people with complex needs. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to help lead our team and uphold the highest standards of care and compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
Leading and mentoring staff to deliver outstanding care
Ensuring compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding regulations
Contributing to care planning and reviews
Building strong relationships with families, professionals, and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare
Relevant Level 3 Diploma or above qualification in children residential care, Health & Social Care or equivalent
Strong leadership and communication skills
Deep understanding of safeguarding and child protection
A genuine passion for making a difference in young lives
