Secondary Learning Mentor (SEMH Focus)
Location: High Peak, Derbyshire
Daily Rate: £95-£110/day
Equal pay to permanent staff from Week 13
Paid via PAYE by Step Teachers - no umbrella companies!
Contract: Temp‑to‑Perm, Full time
Start Date: ASAP
This unique setting-recently designated as an alternative provision academy - supports pupils up to Key Stage 4 in small cohorts. It's based in a serene part of High Peak and forms part of a multi‑site structure designed specifically to re-engage young people who have struggled in mainstream education. The environment is carefully structured, with small classes of around 10 students, high adult support ratios, and a tranquil setting aimed at encouraging positive behavioural change.
