Summary

Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant - Oldham:

Are you an experienced teaching assistant looking for a new role? We are currently working with a large SEN provision in the Oldham area to recruit for experienced teaching assistants to join their team ASAP.

You will be working with small groups and children 1:1 whilst supporting the class teacher. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) then this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children with challenging behaviours and SEN in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Building positive relationships with class teachers to monitor progress and implement strategies
- Preparing resources for lessons to enhance learning experiences
- Engaging and building rapport with pupils to encourage learning

Position Details:
- Location: Oldham
- Position: Experienced SEN TA
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Team Teach training is highly desired
- Previous experience supporting complex needs in a residential or school setting

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
