The Role – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant:
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work 1:1 and with small groups of pupils to provide tailored support, helping them to access the curriculum and build vital life skills. You’ll support classroom learning, deliver interventions, and promote emotional regulation and independence. The Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role also involves building strong relationships with students, teachers, and families to ensure every young person has the chance to thrive.
This Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role is particularly well-suited to graduates in Psychology, Education, or related fields who want to gain invaluable experience working in SEN before pursuing careers such as Educational Psychology, SEN teaching, Speech & Language Therapy, or social care.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant:
• Degree (2:1 or above) required, Psychology or related subjects advantageous

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role
• Resilient, patient, and proactive when faced with challenges
• Previous experience in SEN, care, youth work, or education is beneficial but not essential
• Must have the right to work in the UK (unfortunately, no visa sponsorship available)
