We have an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Apprentice to join the Norwich City Service Limited (NCSL) team. If you are highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
This apprenticeship role supports the Finance team by delivering accurate and timely financial services while gaining practical experience and developing professional skills. Key responsibilities include assisting with invoice and payment processing, supporting budget monitoring and financial reporting, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and learning financial systems and procedures. The position also involves completing structured training and coursework, with flexibility to take on additional duties as required by the line manager.
The ideal candidate will have GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, along with either an AAT Level 2 qualification or a strong interest in pursuing further finance-related studies. They should bring some experience from an office or finance environment, particularly in bookkeeping or accounts, and be familiar with handling financial information. Key skills include strong numeracy, attention to detail, IT proficiency, effective communication, and a solid grasp of basic finance principles.
This role is for 37 hours per week, but to ensure flexibility and promote an inclusive workplace part time hours or a job share agreement will be considered.
