Are you the right person for the job?
You will be a strong fit for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in document control within the MEP or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of MEP project documentation (drawings, specifications, submittals, O&M manuals, test certificates)
• Advanced user skills with document management platforms such as Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, BIM 360 (or similar)
• Understanding of BIM processes and ISO 19650 requirements
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of documentation across multiple projects
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Leadership qualities with experience mentoring junior team members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong reporting/data analysis skills
• A proactive, detail-driven, and quality-focused approach to work

What will your role look like?
As a Senior Document Controller, you will:

• Oversee the full document control lifecycle across multiple MEP projects
• Manage, track, revise, and archive all technical and commercial project documentation
• Lead and mentor junior document controllers and project administrators
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC, ISO, and client-specific document control standards
• Implement and maintain EDMS platforms, ensuring accurate and efficient document flow
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, QS teams, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain timely and accurate information exchange
• Produce document status reports, highlighting overdue approvals or outstanding submittals
• Identify and escalate documentation risks to mitigate project delays
• Support audits by maintaining an accurate, audit-ready record
• Standardise and improve document control processes across the business
