We are looking for an outstanding lecturer, with the qualities to make a difference to our learners. Experience within the SEND area would be advantageous, but if you have teaching ability and could adapt your skills, we would love to hear from you.
As part of a specialist team, you will be expected to deliver high-quality provision and personalised learning, encouraging learners to enhance their skills and achieve their full potential set out in their Educational, Health and Care Plans.
This role would suit someone capable of creating and developing a range of learning opportunities to meet the needs of our students and the relevant awarding bodies from pre-entry to level 1.
Understanding complex learner needs and ensuring that barriers to learning are removed will be essential for this role. An understanding of the SEND reforms and how the Code of Practice impacts on FE courses is also important.
This role requires a problem-solver with high expectations of themselves and our learners. This position will suit a flexible and highly organised individual that can plan and deliver sessions that meet the needs of young people in the department.
Good attention to detail is important with the ability to maintain accurate records utilising the College systems.
You will be based at our well-equipped New Bedford Road Campus in Luton.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 14th September 2025.
You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be encouraged to upskill.
You can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking and generous pension.
If you have any question or queries, please contact a member of the Human Resources team who will be happy to help. WHC Group is positive about disabled people. If you need help applying for a role, please contact us.
