About the Job

Games Workshop has a new, exciting opportunity for an Operational Support Specialist to join our Logistics Team at our EMG distribution hub.

If you are a strong communicator who can overcome critical problems at pace and are driven by a passion for testing and delivering quality to ensure a better user experience, then this could be the role for you!

Reporting to the Global Logistics Systems Manager, you will partner with the rest of the business to ensure the effective implementation and use of our digital logistics systems and services. Analysing and testing data will enable the successful delivery of our solutions.

We are looking for someone with an inquisitive approach to questioning inaccurate practices, keen to exchange ideas, knowledge, and experience to boost the quality and efficiency of the solution.

You will be reviewing and analysing specifications and requirements to produce detailed test plans, test scripts, test cases, and test exit reports to ensure the delivery of high-quality products, you will also be responsible for understanding requirements to support Logistics and IT integrations with testing major projects.

Being an expert in your field, you will have hands-on experience of system testing and warehouse management systems. Knowledge of Dev Ops, Inteq IWS and nShift Carrier Delivery would also be beneficial for this role.

With the confidence and ability to escalate and triage issues to vendors where necessary, you will ensure that all parties are clear on terminology, You will provide ongoing daily monitoring and support to operations to identify and eradicate issues before they stop or slow the operation.

With excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, you will be able to report with clarity about issues and work together with the team to ensure they are resolved. Providing advice and training to operatives, ensuring correct processes are adhered too to enable the system to function as designed.
