Summary


A rare and exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join General Surgery/Urology Outpatients in Suite 1 working 25.5 Hours per week. Working with our friendly and approachable team you will support Consultants in the delivery of patient care to an exceptional standard.

The post holder will carry out nursing duties in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and ensure all Professional Standards and Trust Policies are complied with.

The post holder will work under the direction of the departmental sister to ensure that the Suite 1 Outpatient Department continually provides a high standard of nursing care and treatments to patients and their families by assisting medical and nurse specialists to ensure the smooth provision of services to patients attending the department.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital is located in Calow, Chesterfield, which is situated on a green field site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is home to the Crooked Spire and is also close to Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham, thus offering numerous choices for recreational activities and lifestyles.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital was officially opened by the queen in 1985 and since then it has continued to expand and modernise, currently holding approximately 550 beds. We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
