Qualified Social Worker – Decision Maker (MASH) – Northamptonshire Children’s Trust
Intro:
Are you an experienced and confident social worker looking for a part-time opportunity within a fast-paced safeguarding environment? 3D Recruit is working with Northamptonshire Children’s Trust to source a skilled Decision Maker to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team.

Key Responsibilities:
Triaging referrals and making MASH enquiries.
Speaking to parents and agencies to gather information.
Making threshold recommendations (e.g. whether assessment is required).
Providing direction to MASH Officers (call handlers).
Working closely with multi-agency partners throughout the internal MASH processes.
All work is static with no home visits required.
Essential Requirements:
Degree/Masters in Social Work with current SWE registration.
Strong understanding of child protection and children’s social care.
Ability to make robust safeguarding decisions under pressure.
Right to work in the UK.
Willingness to undergo current vetting requirements (mandatory for all candidates).
Contract Details:
Location: Criminal Justice Centre, Northampton.
Hours: Wednesday 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm; Thursday & Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Hybrid working – one day per week in the office.
Contract: Locum, part-time.
