We’re looking for skilled individuals to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of people who need structured, respectful, and professional support in the community.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you’ll work with individuals subject to Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA), offering person-centred support that promotes safety, independence, and positive outcomes. This is a challenging but deeply rewarding role that requires professionalism, empathy, and the ability to manage risk while maintaining strong, trusting relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to individuals under MAPPA guidance
Implement and follow agreed risk management plans
Work closely with multi-agency teams, including probation, housing, and health professionals
Promote independence and inclusion within the community
Accurately document and report on client progress and incidents
Respond appropriately to crisis situations and behavioural challenges
What We’re Looking For:
Essential: Valid MAPPA training and experience supporting individuals under public protection arrangements
Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, and professional boundaries
Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
Calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
