Join Our NHS Team as a Receptionist

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and committed individual to join our NHS team as a Receptionist. In this vital frontline role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff-
helping us deliver the highest standards of care and support.

Location - Dundonald
Salary - Band 3 - £12.31 per hour

Main Responsibilities
As a Receptionist, your day will be varied and rewarding. Duties may include:

  • Welcoming patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Using computer systems to enter data accurately and retrieve information.
  • Maintaining paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Handling telephone calls, taking messages, and relaying information promptly.
  • Managing and responding to a range of patient and staff queries.
  • Preparing, organising, and transporting medical and administrative records.
  • Booking patient appointments and scheduling meetings.
  • Supporting general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing.

  • Approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Confident using IT systems and keen to learn new processes.
