• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to develop speech clarity, vocabulary, and social communication.
• Support the SENCO and external Speech & Language Therapists in delivering personalised support programmes.
• Adapt teaching and learning resources to make content accessible to learners with varying needs.
• Track progress and provide feedback to teachers, SEN staff, and families.
• Promote inclusion and help students build confidence and independence in both academic and social settings.
The Ideal Candidate:
• A graduate in Psychology, Education, Linguistics, English Language, or a related field.
• Passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs.
• An aspiring Educational Psychologist, Speech & Language Therapist, SEN Teacher, or similar.
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable with excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience working with young people, whether in schools, tutoring, volunteering, or care settings, is highly desirable.
Why This Role?
• Gain hands-on classroom experience supporting students with SLCN and SEN.
• Work alongside a highly skilled SEN department and external specialists.
