We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join an innovative team. Roles and Responsibilities- Provide in-class support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including those with physical, learning, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.
- Work closely with the class Teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Adapt learning materials and activities to meet the specific needs of students.
- Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Assist with personal care and mobility as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs in an educational setting is essential.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Attributes: Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the development of every child.
- Qualifications: A relevant Teaching assistant qualification or a degree in a related field is highly desirable.
