Summary

Educato are working on behalf of a primary school in the Wythenshawe area who are looking recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a non-verbal child with Autism in their early years unit. As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working on a 1:1 basis with the pupil and this will require elements of personal care. This is a full time post on a temp-perm basis to start as soon as possible in September.



The Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be a key player in delivering high-quality support to a child in Early Years in a primary school in Wythenshawe area. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to:
- Support pupils with SEN
- Experience within a Primary or SEN school
- Experience of working within Early Years
- Assist with planning and delivering personalised learning activities
- Help develop communication, social, and emotional skills
- Contribute to detailed observations, assessments, and progress tracking
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support

What We're Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent experience
- An understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- A genuine passion for SEN and understanding of different learning needs
- Experience of using PECs and Visual Timetables
- Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, or other additional needs is a bonus
