• Able to communicate clearly and form strong, trusting relationships
• Motivated to build a career within education, therapy, SEN, or child psychology
The Role – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to achieve their learning and EHCP goals
• Help pupils develop strategies for communication, self-regulation, and positive behaviour
• Work alongside teachers and specialists to adapt learning activities to individual needs
• Encourage confidence, resilience, and independence in every pupil
• Be an important part of each child’s journey, celebrating progress daily
