An established and inclusive SEN school in St Albans is looking to appoint a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant from September 2025. What you’ll be doing:

• Working with pupils aged 6–16 who have additional needs such as autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), and moderate learning difficulties.
• Providing personalised academic and emotional support, both in 1:1 sessions and small group work.
• Helping students engage with lessons, build confidence, and develop independence.
• Assisting teaching staff in creating an inclusive and encouraging learning environment.

About you:

• A minimum 2:2 degree (Psychology, Education or related fields advantageous)
• Patient, adaptable, and confident when faced with challenges
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Previous experience with SEN, youth work, or mentoring is desirable but not essential
• Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
