AHP Faculty Speech and Language Therapy Apprenticeships Project lead
Band 8A – 0.4 WTE
Fixed Term contract/ Secondment until March 2026

This is an exciting opportunity to take a key leadership role in developingSpeech and Language Therapy Apprenticeships across London. You will join the North Central London (NCL) AHP Faculty project team, which currently supports a range of workforce and education projects, including apprenticeships, preceptorships, the support workforce, student placements, and Advanced Clinical Practice.

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist with a strong understanding of workforce initiatives, particularly in the growth and expansion of apprenticeships, in line with current national strategies. The role may also involve supporting other AHP Faculty workstreams and subgroups as required.

As the Speech and Language Therapy Apprenticeships Project Lead, you will work to expand apprenticeship opportunities within the 5 London Integrated Care Systems, as a ‘once for London’ approach. You will collaborate with healthcare providers, educational institutions, and key system partners to align with national AHP priorities and workforce strategies. You will provide leadership and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of the project and contribute to evaluating and reporting its outcomes.
