Job summary Improvement and Transformation is the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) approach to whole-hospital continuous improvement. It is how we are improving quality, safety and value for money at our hospitals and is our thoughtful response to the challenges we face. Specifically, the post holder will be responsible for operational and project support to enable successful delivery of one or more key organisational priorities. The project(s) may be clinical or non-clinical and cover a variety of deliverables, including operational performance, financial performance, service issues and clinical quality improvement. The post holder will be responsible for facilitating progress and providing practical support to the teams impacted on by the project to take forward service improvement and new ways of working. The post holder will support the Senior Improvement Lead to ensure alignment of goals and priorities and ensure delivery of the project. The postholder will be able to establish positive working relationships quickly at all levels of the organisation and manage a busy workload, responding to conflicting priorities as required. The post holder will be required to work at all NUH campuses, off site venues and flexibly as required to role. Occasionally the post holder may need to work out of core hours (including weekends and evenings) as required by the project/programmes.
