Key Responsibilities
Support students with individual needs, helping them believe in themselves and prepare for the future
Lead safeguarding as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring strong protection across the school
Provide excellent pastoral care to all pupils
Understand and contribute to the school’s improvement plans
Identify and report safeguarding trends to senior leaders
Build strong links with professional services and the community
Keep accurate records of behaviour incidents
Support behaviour and safeguarding across the school as needed
Requirements
A strong passion for supporting students with SEND
At least 2 years’ experience in a SEND setting or similar provision
Commitment as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, believing every child deserves an outstanding education
Experience in a safeguarding role within education
