Key Responsibilities


  • Support students with individual needs, helping them believe in themselves and prepare for the future

  • Lead safeguarding as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring strong protection across the school

  • Provide excellent pastoral care to all pupils

  • Understand and contribute to the school’s improvement plans

  • Identify and report safeguarding trends to senior leaders

  • Build strong links with professional services and the community

  • Keep accurate records of behaviour incidents

  • Support behaviour and safeguarding across the school as needed


Requirements

  • A strong passion for supporting students with SEND

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a SEND setting or similar provision

  • Commitment as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, believing every child deserves an outstanding education

  • Experience in a safeguarding role within education
