The Role – HLTA
We are seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our welcoming Key Stage 1 team from September 2025. This role will involve supporting teaching and learning across KS1, delivering interventions, and covering classes in the absence of the teacher.
The successful candidate will:
•
Support and lead learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
•
Deliver planned lessons and cover classes when required.
•
Work with small groups and individuals to raise attainment and engagement.
•
Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs, ensuring inclusive practice.
•
Help maintain a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment.
